Cottage Location.

Set close to the heart of the village of Erpingham which was the family seat of Sir Thomas Erpingham who fought at the battle of Agincourt in 1415, the cottage is 1 mile from the local shops at Aldborough which has seasonal cricket matches on the village green a short stroll from the village pub serving meals.
The village is surrounded by farmland & meadows, the coast is 5 miles away & the friendly market town of Aylsham is 4 miles. The famous Norfolk Broads are within easy driving distance & the fine cathedral city of Norwich, where the Erpingham Gate can be seen is 20 minutes drive.

Cley marshes with its International reputation as one of Britain’s best sites for bird watching is only 30 minutes drive. Guests can enjoy boat trips to the Seal and Tern colonies at Blakeney and walks through Holt Country Park. The Weavers Way walk, just over the fields, takes you across Thwaite common, with many different species of birds and wild flowers, and on to the spectacular 17thc  Blickling Hall - surrounded by acres of National Trust land
